"Cooperating Together to Touch our Communities for Christ"

The Tongass Baptist Association of churches desires to glorify our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through fellowship, mutual assistance, as well as cooperative endeavors in ministry, training, evangelism and establishing new works throughout southeast Alaska and around the world.

 

"Southeast Alaska is a world of massive glaciers, fjords, and snowcapped peaks.  Thousands of islands are blanketed with lush stands of spruce, hemlock, and cedar.  Bays, coves, lakes of all sizes, and swift, icy rivers provide some of the continent's best fishing grounds."* 

 

Planted in the midst of this beauty are God's people sharing the message of Christ to friends and neighbors as their local church demonstrates the gospel message in word and deed.  You can be a part of the mission effort as you pray for these Southern Baptists who live in southeast Alaska.
